Does anyone get cervical mucus before their period? - what is cervical mucus like before your period

I thought dry after ovulation? I get pretty cm target at the moment (with the other early signs of pregnancy). EWCM I was there 2 weeks and I hope I'm pregnant. I did a test last week and it always came back negative, then again I do as much research as possible before the test. Thanks in advance!
