I've heard that too, but I never saw proof. In fact, placed a sure way to get rid of castor beans, beans, mole AKA, and in the holes. They are symptoms of poisoning. You can get a garden center and, in some seed catalogs and I'm sure you can find them on the network. A mole is dead locked with other molecules.
Moles eat insects and roots. Getting rid of insects and probably will not have problems with them.
I've heard that you can put Juicy Fruit gum in the hole to kill them. (It was on local news)
Apparently, the clogs their intestines.
The best way I've found is using poison peanuts.
I have not tried to rubber.
